Dear Commissioners,
I’m a full-time resident of Jefferson County, living in Port Townsend, WA. I urge you to take all actions to save the old-growth trees on the Quimper Peninsula, often referred to as
the “Lost Wilderness.”
We have so few old growth trees remaining in our area, that we must protect everyone remaining one. Old growth trees are essential to storing carbon, combatting climate change, and
to our entire PNW ecosystem, especially our endangered salmon and Southern Resident Orcas. Please save these irreplaceable trees and their ecosystem from logging.
Thank you very much for considering my comments.
