SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
9:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019 Jefferson County Courthouse, County Administrator’s Conference Room
Call to Order: Chair David Sullivan called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. in the presence of Board Members Howard Scott, Gary Mikelson and William Loncar, and Secretary Erin
Lundgren. Member Faber was absent.
Approval of Minutes: Member Mikelson moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of April
9, 2019 as presented. Member Scott seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Closed Session: The Board was scheduled to meet in Closed Session from 9:01 a.m. to 9:15
a.m. Chair Sullivan announced that the Board will be meeting in Closed Session from 9:01 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. with the LEOFFI Board Secretary to review and discuss medical expenses under exemption RCW 42.30.140(2) as outlined in the Open Public Meetings Act. The Closed Session was concluded and the regular meeting was resumed at 9:12 a.m.
Determination on Payment of Health Care Expenses: Member Scott moved to approve
payment of medical expenses in the amount of $6,093.60 submitted by LEOFFI Retiree Robert Klatt pursuant to Part 8 of the LEOFFI Board Rules, Policies and Procedures. Member Mikelson seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 a.m. until the next regularly scheduled
meeting on October 8, 2019 or special meeting as properly noticed. Respectfully Submitted,
