PETITION
RICKY BEACH DRIVE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public
hearing will be held by the Jefferson County
Hearing Examiner to review and receive
comments on a road vacation.

PROJECT LOCATION:
Ricky Beach Drive right-of-way as per plat of
Termination Point, recorded in Volume 4 of
Plats, Page 25, records of Jefferson County,
Washington; Auditor’s File No. 170248; locat-
ed in Section 2, Township 27 North, Range
1 East, W.M.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Applicant has requested the County vacate
(pursuant to Ch. 12.10 Jefferson County
Code) all of the Ricky Beach Drive right-of-
way, which is 60-foot-wide (and including a
wider cul-de-sac at the end) and approxi-
mately 1,650 feet long.

The public hearing will be conducted on
Tuesday December 20, 2022 over a virtual
conference video call. The hearing will begin
at or about 10:00 AM. For access to the vir-
tual conference as well as to the County En-
gineer’s report and accompanying exhibits,

County Office of the Hearing Examiner web-

“Calendar” on right side of webpage. Please
call or email the Contact Person listed below
for assistance.
The County Engineer’s Report and accom-
panying exhibits are also available for review
at the Jefferson County Public Works Office,
623 Sheridan Street, Port Townsend, WA
98368, telephone (360) 385-9160.
All interested persons are invited to (a)
comment on the application; (b) attend the
virtual public hearing; and (c) receive a copy
of the decision by submitting such written
comment(s)/request(s) to the Contact Person
listed below.
Comments may be presented via testimony
during the video conference hearing or may
be mailed or emailed to the Contact Person
listed below. Mailed or emailed comments
must be received by the Contact Person by
noon on Monday December 19 in order to
ensure they are presented at the hearing and
made part of the official record.
