Dear Neighbor:
We want to inform you of a new project that wifl be taking place next door to your
residence. For the first time since the 1970's we are expanding the docks at the
Port Ludlow Marina. A total of 100 additional slip~ will be added off of D, E, and
the new F dock (see enclosed sketch), and there will also be increased storage
facilities for kayaks and dinghies added to B dock. As you can see, there will be
approximately 122 feet between your dock and the proposed docks.
We do not foresee undertaking on-shore construction with this application. On-
shore construction may occur later if and when the new resort and marina
building expansion take place.
The project will require permits from federal, state, and local agencies. Approval
is expected to take at least one year.
If have any questions, I would be happy to answer them by telephone or to meet
with you in person. My telephone number is 437-2101. In addition, Jefferson
County will be collecting comments. The County's permit coordinator is Josh
Peters. If you wish to speak with him, his number is 379-4450.
