DRAFT SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT
PORT LUDLOW MARINA EXPANSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact
Statement (DSEIS) for the Port Ludlow Marina Expansion has been issued in accordance
with Chapter 197-11 WAC.
LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: Port Ludlow Marina, 1 Gull Dr, Port Ludlow W A 98365
DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL:
To expand the Port Ludlow Marina (Marina) by adding 100 new slips for 36 to 60-foot
vessels, adjacent side-ties areas for vessels over 60 feet in length, and amenities such as
dinghy floats and an expanded kayak float.
LEAD AGENCY / RESPONSIBLE OFFICIAL: Jefferson County Department of
Community Development; Al Scalf, Director.
Copies of the DSEIS can be obtained from the Jefferson County Department of
Community Development (Department) at a cost of $40.00. The DSEIS is available for
review at The Bay Club at Port Ludlow, 120 Spinaker Place; Port Ludlow Beach Club,
121 Marine Drive; Port Hadlock Branch of the County Public Library; and at the
Department. Technical reports, background data, and other relevant information are
available at the Department. The text and maps of the DSEIS are also accessible via the
World Wide Web at www.co.jefferson.wa.us/commdevelopment/
Written comments on the Draft SEIS must be received no later than August 5, 2002.
