Greetings:
I spoke with Barbara Nightingale today about NOSe forage fish studies in the Ludlow Bay area. Her response
appears below. This topic came up at the on-site staff meeting recently out at the Marina. Please investigate
whether this information influences the proposal or the presentation of environmental information with regard to
the proposal. Thank you.
Regards,
Josh

Josh,
I placed a map I had in my database on my web site for you at http:www.biomes.net that is consistent with the
WDFW 2000 forage fish beach report. NOSe does show 2 newly identified beach sites in Port Ludlow one for
surf smelt near the site of the marina or possibly just west of it and another for sand lance on the beach adjacent
to the resort immediately north of the harbor mouth where the resort is located - looks like it is in the tip at the
entrance just east of the marina.
If you woudllike a hard copy of the NOSe map and the WDFW map, just let me know and I can drop one by.
