Potential TimeUne for Port Ludlow Marina Expansion
Based on pile driving beginning September 2, 2003

Following is a draft outline ofa schedule developed to allow construction of the marina
expansion to begin September 2,2003. Key items/dates in the schedule are:
· Issuance of the Final SEIS for the Resort (this allows processing of the Jefferson Co.
Shoreline Permit);
· Issuance of the Jefferson Co. Shoreline Permit (this allows submission!approval of
the Jefferson Co. Building Permit);
· Signed contract with the construction contractor (do you want to do this before you
have an approved County Shoreline Permit?);
· Ordering piling (a significant cost and a long lead time; PLA may need to authorize
purchase of piling before the Building Permit is issued).
The following schedule is tight, and assumes the Resort SEIS will proceed in a
straightforward manner, so we do need to start ASAP. I have a call into Josh reo how
long it will take after the Resort FSEIS is issued to get the Shoreline Permit. This
schedule also assumes the COE Section 10 Permit and the WDFW HP A will be issued
prior to the County Shoreline Permit.
