Subject: Final Supplemental EIS - Port Ludlow Marina Expansion (SDPOO-00014)
Enclosed is a copy of the document, titled Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement
- Port Ludlow Marina Expansion. prepared as part of Application SDPOO-00014 Shoreline
Primary Use Substantial Development Permit for expansion of the Port Ludlow Marina.
The Jefferson County Department of Community Development (Department) has issued a Final
Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (Final SEIS) which addresses Marina expansion
and comments received on the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement. In
response to the comments received, a new alternative, "Response to Comments Alternative", was
developed and is included in the Final SEIS. The Final SEIS includes a summary of potential
impacts and an evaluation of aesthetics impacts from this new alternative. This Final SEIS will
aid the decision-making process in the review ofthe required permits (Shoreline Permit) for the

All background information is available for review at the Jefferson County, Department of
Community Development.
Further public involvement opportunities will be available during the preparation of an
Environmental Impact Statement for the Port Ludlow Resort expansion. No shoreline or
building permits for Marina expansion or any other aspect of Resort expansion will be issued
until the Resort expansion EIS process is complete.
