Thanks - I contacted you rather than Jerry just because I only had
questions reo the shoreline permits. At some point we need to talk
about what uses, in what locations, require what shoreline permits.
When we meet with Jerry to discuss this, can he invite you? Given the
sensitivity of some of the shoreline issues, it would be good to have as
many viewpoints as possible.
Thanks. Lyn

Hello Lyn:
Jerry Smith is your contact for the Resort Plan. Based on what I recall
from past conversations, a shoreline permit or permits will be required
along with the Plan. I remember there being options for the applicant,
in terms of either applying for the shoreline permits along with the
Plan or after Plan approval. In some cases, it may be optimal to apply
along with the Plan (e.g., to approve a shoreline use). In other cases,
it would make more sense to apply later (e.g., a shoreline permit
exemption along with a building permit to construct a single-family
residence). The types of shoreline permits required will depend on
exactly what uses and development are being proposed. When an
application for the Resort Plan is prepared, Jerry can assist you in
determining what shoreline permit or permits would be necessary to
implement the Plan.
Regards,
Josh
