Re: Type III Land Use Application MLA05-00276 (Marrowstone Island LUD#14)
Water For Marrowstone represents the property owner majority supporting LUD#14,
the public water system for Marrowstone Island under construction by Jefferson
County PUD District # 1.
We understand that a SEP A review is not required and we encourage your department
to move as quickly as possible to provide any permits required for this public water
system on Marrowstone Island. Many home-owners are without any source of potable
water at this time and are relying upon water hauled from off-island sites. Our needs
are critical and affect the health and safety of residents and property. With the
completion of the water storage tank at Ft Flagler, we hope to see public water
available to many residents before the end of 2005 (phase I). Phase II should be
complete in 2006.
The site address and project location is SR 116 rather than SR19 as stated in the public
notice. The section identifications appear to be correct.
Please provide us a copy of the final decision regarding MLA05-00276 or advise how
