Dear Sirs;
In regard to LUD# 14:
A public water system is desperately needed on Marrowstone Island.
A majority of residents want/need safe water. It is a public
health issue.
Wells are going dry right now, even though it is early in the year.
There is salt intrusion in many wells.
We need a system to enhance our fire fighting capabilities.
The environmental impact of a public water system will not be
significant, and should not delay providing a safe water supply
for Marrowstone Island. Do not other communities have water
systems without harming the environment?
