our community. Marrowstone.lsland hass longstandinggrotlndwater supply problem.
There are many residents who desperately need areliable.andsafewatersupply
because theirwells have either ceased to produceactequate quantity or have been ..
contaminated .with saltwater. .LUD.#14 will.providene~ssaryreliefforthose
homeowners on the island that need water. now as weU.asthosehomeowners who
have presently may have adequate water supply, but could need hE;tlp intheJuture.
The majority of re$idents on theislandare infavoroUhewatersystemand
recognize the need for this basic utility service in our community. Please do not alloW
the current SEP A .teview to become poisoned with. nOnsensical rhetoric and unfounded
clalms.of negative environmental impacts to the island.
