We strongly encourage you to give this application your earliest possible attention to
provide the necessary permits required for this Public Water System on Marrowstone
Island. Again, this year, we and our neighbors are facing very difficult problems with
potable water shortages, water for fire protection, and very often well contamination from
sources beyond our control or knowledge that cause serious health risks.
We are very concerned that there is still a small minority of opposition to public water
for Marrowstone Island despite the vigorous approval of the majority of property owners
and the Courts. We urge you not to have this opposition affect your decision to promptly
process the necessary documents.
