Dear Mr. Hoskins;
We are strongly in favor the the Marrowstone Island Community Water System,
LUD#14, and urge your positive decision in the permitting by the PUD#1 of
Jefferson County, of the proposed installations.
So many persons on Marrowstone are badly in need of public water, what with
salt water intrusion in wells, wells going dry, foul taste/odor, having to haul water
for all uses. It isn't just for drinking, but for showering, flushing toilets, and the
things everyone takes for granted when they have water. In addition water is
essential for Fire Protection and it is noteworthy that one of the persons
AGAINST public water is an island volunteer fireman!
Individuals who are opposing this LUD#14 are trying to deny those of us and our
neighbors on Marrowstone the water we so desperately need. Some of them are
not even Marrowstone residents, and others seem to say, "We have the water we
need, so to 'heck' with you".

Thanks for you attention and recognition that the overwhelming MAJORITY of
homeowners on Marrowstone want and NEED water.
