Re: Land Use Application for Marrowstone Island Water System
Dear Ms. Hoskins:
As a property owner on Marrowstone Island, but not a full time resident, I am in favor of
the permanent Island residents having the first word on this effort to provide themselves
with a reliable source of water. For me it would be a convenience but not the necessity it
would be for them, and they have made their views known and I think those views should
be respected.
It is disheartening to learn of the interference on those who are not permanent residents or
part time residents or even property owners but provincial dilettantes. As a part time
resident I feel I should not interfere with what the permanent residents want and so advise
the buttinskis to adopt the same stance.
I am a supporter of the effort and will be ready to do my part and sign up for a connection
when it becomes available - if the local residents prevaiL
Sincerely,
