RE: Marrowstone Water Project
David:
We will not draw up the bid documents until we have obtained all the necessary
permits. Depending on the results of the hearing and the
Jarpa I will then do detail drawings. If you would like some standard
drawings, I can forward those. An actual contract may not be awarded
until late next year. The actual construction will be done in phases.
We hope to have the entire shoreline permit awarded at the hearing.
We will award the wetland contract for the rest of the island at our next regularly
scheduled meeting in Decemeber. The engineer will review the rest of the wetlands
identified on the recon. Most of those are on the southeast side of the island and away
from the shorelines.

Jim,
I understood you didn't yet have a contractor - is that correct? Also, are wetlands going
to be an issue for Phase II?

David,
After reading some of the material from the Marrowstone Water Project packet, I've been
having some difficulty finding a couple of items that would interest me. I was not able to
find the actual construction drawings that the contractor will use to install the pipe on
Marrowstone. I've also had problems finding the wetland delineation for anything other
than phase one. Is the permit being issued for the whole project or for phase one?
If
for the whole project then this information should be included.
