Last week I sent inquiries via e-mail about obtaining information concerning no of
hook-ups the Marrowstone water project is designed for. You responded that your department
would not be requiring that information from the PUD. I believed then as I do now that it
is pertinent information in determining compliance with Performance Standards for
Utilities in section 5.200 of the Shoreline Management Master Program. No.3 under
Performance Standards reads: Utilities shall be designed and installed to meet future
needs when possible. How many is the system designed for? Does it meet future needs? How
can it be known if the application meets those standards if that information is missing?
Therefore I feel that that information should be required of the applicant, not only for
your evaluation purposes but that I may comment on it as well.
