RE: MLA05-00276
David:
The approved WSP chapter 4 Volume 2 discusses the current and future service areas.
Marrowstone is discussed and included in the connection projects. It is also gone into
some detail in appendix C of Volume 4 of the WSP. A lot of the supporting calculations
are shown there.
Letter dated 16 March 2005 from DOH sets the system WFI approval for 2,626.
Not sure what the last paragraph means.

I would like to comment on some things in a response from the applicant to my earlier
questions contained in Log Item # 141 pgs 1 thru 10.
The PUD's approved WSP discusses Marrowstone I., but does it contain an approved
amendment to serve Marrowstone, a requirement noted in the DOH document pg 8? Page 7 shows
a table of each DOH approved system in the WSP with the number of approved connections for
each. The Marrowstone system is not included as being approved.
Note the discrepancy between the 2,200 DOH approved ERU's for the Quimper Water
Sysyem [pg 5] and the 2626 figure put forth by the applicant. [pg 1 & pg 10]
It's questionable if this application would meet the requirements of section 5.200 of
the Shoreline Management Master Program concerning abilities to provide for future
projected growth, without additional capacity, and when official approval has yet to be
granted to do so in the present.
