RE: Beckett Point - Conversion
Jim,
We discussed the project today in the staff meeting. John Nisbet (Nisbet Timber phone:
732-7700) has been talking to Greg Ballard (planner in our office) about the Forest
Practices Application. The information from Parametrix covers everything I need. John
doesn't have to submit anything else. No additional fees are needed at this time because
the PUD already paid for SEPA and the review can be covered under the main project.
Looks like we're on schedule for the Notice of Application to be printed in the January
18th edition of the Leader.
You'll want to come in and get the signs before Wednesday. Our office is closed for MLK
Day on Monday, Jan. 16th.
Cara will have the notice ready to pick up on Tuesday afternoon.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Zoe Ann Lamp

Jim,
Looks like the conversion was discussed in the pre-application
conference, It was discussed that the forest conversion was going to be
completed prior to the submission of a permit for the improvements. I
just mentioned this project to another planner in the office. He said
that John Nesbitt is working on it but he hasn't turned it in yet.
Stacie Hoskins, Greg Ballard, Al Scalf and I will be getting together

this week to discuss the project.
Sorry, I had hoped to get it noticed this week but with this coming up I
won't be able to. I will let you know the results of the meeting.

I was reviewing Beckett Point Sanitary Sewer System Improvements case
with Stacie Hoskins. As we were going through everything we realized
Beckett Point has not addressed the conversion of the 5 acres drainfield
area from forested land to non-forestry use. What has happened on this?
Please advise.

Jim,
I have been working on Beckett Point most of the day trying to complete
the information necessary to notice it. I have not had a chance to
review the Quilcene Water Project. Looks like it will be Monday before
I'll be able to look at it.
After looking at the Beckett Point project I'd like it noticed in 7
locations, Because this is a shoreline application it will need to be
up for 30 days. Do you have enough signs left over from other projects
or do you need to pick up more? You paid for one with the application.
Each additional one will be $8.00. When you pick up the signs we can
discuss the posting locations.
