Got DOH's response to plans. They have a couple of questions for the engineers that probably have to be answered by you, in particular status of SEPA and conformity with land use. Please see items 2 and 3 below. Do you have that data? Does something else need to be done? Design Review Comments - Beckett Point Fishing Club Proposed Large On-Site System - Jefferson County Dear Mr. Moren: The engineering report and plans for the above referenced project received in this office on August 11, 2005 have been reviewed. The following comments should be addressed in your next submittal. General Comments: 1. Please provide any written agreements between the Beckett Point FisDerman's Club and the Jefferson County PUD No.1 to own, operate and maintain the LOSS system. 2. Provide documentation to show that the total project has received approval under SEPA. 3. Please provide documentation of compliance with local zoning, platting, and 'building requirements as they relate to sewer utilities. 4. The contractor must be approved as a septic system installer for Jefferson County. Please include a note on the Plans addressing this requirement. 5. The construction of this LOSS should be observed by the Engineer to assure that construction is in accordance with the approved design. Please include a list of inspections that you will make during construction. John Nisbet (Nisbet Timber phone: 732-7700) has been talking to Greg Ballard (planner in our office) about the Forest Practices Application. The information from parametrix covers everything I need. John doesn't have to submit anything else. No additional fees are needed at this time because the PUD already paid for SEPA and the review can be covered under the main project. Looks like we're on schedule for the Notice of Application to be printed in the January 18th edition of the Leader. 2 ifJ.. .-~-,..,,- "",^ ^~<>=~~7i;(~..v, You'll want to come in and get the signs before Wednesday. It was discussed that the forest conversion was going to be completed prior to the submission of a permit for the improvements. I just mentioned this project to another planner in the office. He said that John Nesbitt is working on it but he hasn't turned it in yet. Stacie Hoskins, Greg Ballard, Al Scalf and I will be getting together this week to discuss the project. Sorry, I had hoped to get it noticed this week but with this coming up I won't be able to. I will let you know the results of the meeting. I have not had a chance to review the Quilcene Water Project. Looks like it will be Monday before I'll be able to look at it. After looking at the Beckett Point project I'd like it noticed in 7 locations. Because this is a shoreline application it will need to be up for 30 days. Do you have enough signs left over from other projects or do you need to pick up more? You paid for one with the application. Each additional one will be $8.00. When you pick up the signs we can discuss the posting locations. Zoe Ann 5 -^ <_~,::L.l-.,<~,~_..~ -5~..<,...,,5,,<
