We're still expecting to have it ready for you tomorrow. As soon as we're finished with it I'll e-mail you. Beckett Point - No date for a hearing yet. When you pick up the Quilcene permit tomorrow I'll have a packet of comments for you to address. After you respond to the comments I will do my staff report and schedule the hearing. As far as bald eagles are concerned. . I spoke with Shelly Ament last week and she said there is no eagle plan required. Since there are eagles in the area she would like you to keep as many trees as possible, however, she's not requiring an eagle plan. Do you have other information regarding the bald eagles? Please advise. Sincerely, Zoe Ann Lamp Associate Planner Jt \ '~' Jefferson County 1 .'" Do you know when the shoreline hearing is for the Beckett Point system. Engineers are worried if it is too late we can not do anything this year because of the bald eagles. Also can I pick up the Quilcene permit tomorrow. John Nisbet (Nisbet Timber phone: 732-7700) has been talking to Greg Ballard (planner in our office) about the Forest Practices Application. The information from Parametrix covers everything I need. John doesn't have to submit anything else. No additional fees are needed at this time because the PUD already paid for SEPA and the review can be covered under the main project. Looks like we're on schedule for the Notice of Application to be printed in the January 18th edition of the Leader. You'll want to come in and get the signs before Wednesday. Our office is closed for MLK Day on Monday, Jan. 16th. Cara will have the notice ready to pick up on Tuesday afternoon. Please let me know if you have any questions. It was discussed that the forest conversion was going to be completed prior to the submission of a permit for the improvements. I just mentioned this project to another planner in the office. He said that John Nesbitt is working on it but he hasn't turned it in yet. Stacie Hoskins, Greg Ballard, Al Scalf and I will be getting together this week to discuss the project. Sorry, I had hoped to get it noticed this week but with this coming up I won't be able to. I will let you know the results of the meeting. I have not had a chance to review the Quilcene Water Project. Looks like it will be Monday before I'll be able to look at it. After looking at the Beckett Point project I'd like it noticed in 7 locations. Because this is a shoreline application it will need to be up for 30 days. Do you have enough signs left over from other projects or do you need to pick up more? You paid for one with the application. Each additional one will be $8.00. When you pick up the signs we can discuss the posting locations. Zoe Ann 5 71 5 5
