Commissioners to Seattle on Bridge Project. Indian Island.
WHEREAS a meeting is to be held with the Naval Commandant of the

Indian Island ammunition depot on the 11th and 12th of Sept., 1940: and
WHEREAS the interests of Jefferson County in the matter of seciring a
bridge over the portage canal are very vital to this County and now is
the time when every effort should be put forth to secure same
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Boar.d of Jefferson County Commissioners
proceed to Seat.tle in this matter ~t p~b1ic expense on the above narned
dates for the purposes aforesaid
