COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS M
JEFFERSON COUNTY

The Board adjourned to meet again on Friday, I',larch 6th, 1942.
FridaY, March 6th, 1942. At 10 A.M.
The Board reconvened on the above named d('lte and hour with all members present.
Mr. Ton'Y' DeLeo of the pt 'I'o\insend Lumber Co., appeared before the
Board relative to an old gravel screen oVlned by the County noVl at Chii'tacunl and orrer'ed
the sum of $200.00 for the same and upon motion made and seconded it WaS ordered sold
to him for that amount.
Motion was msde by Mr. Kruse ~nd seconded by Mr. Nisbet to give the
Schools of Jefferson County the sum of' ~:;25,000.OO and, an equal amount to the Road
Fund, from the moneys received from the Fed~ra1 Forest Timber Sales, the amounn
received from that source being the sum of $56,293.35.
It Vias decided to advertise for bids for County truck and car inaurance
for the 1st MondaY in April, which vlould fall on the 6th.
The Bond of Comty Engineer VI.A. Bugge Vias presented , eXamined and approved
in the sum of *5000.00.
The f~lloVling resolutions were signed:
RESOLUTION NO "B" 46.
WHEREAS Plans and Specifications were drawn for the construction of County
Road Projedt No. 39, Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS during the course of construction it beCame neccsspry to change the
plans, and
WHEREAS the change necessitatdld a change ;I.n the list of que.ntiUes,
