VII'HEREAS in the matter of a certain sprij of money to be paid by the
United states of America for the taking of certa.in lands in the West end of Jefferson
Count:r and which is now and hqs been on deposit in the Federal Court in Seattle,
and
~HEREAS no results have been obtained in regard to getting this money by
writing to the Spemli:al Attorney's with regard to same
THEREFORE it is felt by the Commissioners of Jefferson County that if they'
proceed to Seattle and talk with the~;e special attorneJ-T$ that some imr'ledi.ate
action might be forthcoming
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board proceed to Seattle on April 9th and make
special effort to get some action so ati to secure this money at an early date.
