~EEREAS a bill for the amount of $350.00 for Fire Protection for
County owned land undefl the protection of the United States Forest :3ervice
for the ,ye~r of 1941 had been approved for payment by the CO~1issioners of
liefferson Coudy, and
WHEREAS this approved bill WaS mislaid Rnd not found un:,il t!1e 20 day
time limit in Jany 1942 ha.d expired and the a-,:)propnation for 1941 had reverted
back to the zeneral current expense fund, now therefore,
AS this is a just bill and payable under the Act of March 3rd, 1925, #43 stat.
No. 1127 and an agreement had been signed with the U.S. Forest Service to Day
sQme,
BE IT RESOLVED that an emergency exists and that the amount of $350.00
alre'ldy approved for payment be paid and the Tre--sul-er of Jefferson County is
hereby directed to honor a warrant drawn by the County Auditor in favor of the
Treasurer of the United States of America for this amount.
