I have our OWSI Manager, Larry Smith, doing some investigating on this.

Subject: EIS scoping
Greetings Reid-Middleton and PLA contacts:
In reviewing the scoping document, we note a lack of detail regarding
analysis of impacts to groundwater. Though the appropriate category is
listed--G. Public Services--there is no reference to
groundwater/community
water. Please include an analysis of the impact of the 100-slip
expansion
to the use of the community water system (e.g., service to the 100 new
slips; increased use of laundromat, store, and upland bathrooms;
potential
emergency use of water to combat fire on expanded marina) and how the
increased use relates to the on-going groundwater monitoring program
established in the 1993 programmatic EIS.
Thank you.
Regards,
Josh
