Potential Timeline for Port Ludlow Marina Expansion
Based on pile driving beginning September 2, 2003

Following is a draft outline of a schedule developed to allow construction of the marina
expansion to begin September 2, 2003. Key items/dates in the schedule are:
· Issuance of the Final SEIS for the Resort (this allows processing of the Jefferson Co.
Shoreline Permit);
· Issuance of the Jefferson Co. Shoreline Permit (this allows submission/approval of
the Jefferson Co. Building Permit);
· Signed contract with the construction contractor (do you want to do this before you
have an approved County Shoreline Permit?);
· Ordering piling (a significant cost and a long lead time; PLA may need to authorize
purchase of piling before the Building Permit is issued).
The following schedule is tight, and assumes the Resort SEIS will proceed in a
straightforward manner, so we do need to start ASAP. I have a call into Josh reo how
long it will take after the Resort FSEIS is issued to get the Shoreline Permit.
