Jefferson County has forwarded the attached application to you for review and comment because
your agency is responsible for detennining compliance with state and federal requirements or may
otherwise be affected by the following proposal:
Environmental and Resort Plan Review of the Port Ludlow Resort Development Plan under Section
3.90 of the Port Ludlow Master Planned Resort Ordinance. A project level Supplemental
Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) analyzing the Resort Plan is required. The resort
development plan has been revised from the scale of the plan described in the Port Ludlow Master
Planned Resort Ordinance. Prior to defining the scope of the EIS, a Public Scoping Meeting will be
held on July 16, 2003, from 1 :00 P.M.to 3:00 P.M. at the Port Ludlow Beach Club.
This proposal is subject to environmental review and threshold determination under the State
Environmental Policy Act (SEPA).

Parcel numbers 821 093001,821 162004 & 005, in Section 09 & 16, Township 28. Range 01 East,
WM, located at Port Ludlow, WA 98365
Comments must be received within fourteen (14) calendar days or by July 10,2003. If no written
response has been received within fourteen (14) days, your agency will be presumed to have no
comments. If necessary, the UDC administrator may grant an extension of time for comment.
