WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States of America, at
'its regular session in 1935, passed a law whereby banks
organi~ed under and by virtue of the laws of the United
states shall not pay interest on any money or funds depos-
ited or to be hereafter deposited with any such banks by
any municipal corporation,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the Finance Committee of
Jefferson County, Washington, in session on this tl th
day of January, 1939, that there shall be no interest
paid on any funds now on deposit or hereafter to be de-
posited with The First Anlerican National Bank of Port
Townsend, Washington, or any other depositaries which
may hereafter be named.
