,WHEREAS it is to the best interests of the People of Jefferson
County that the portion of the County Road System known as the Queets
River Road be improved under County Road Specif'ieatiQns,and
WHEREAS the public interests of the People of Jefferson County
demand the imp rovem en t, and
WHEREAS the estimated cost of the projects i. t~500.00,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Q,ueets RiYer Road be improved
from the 'NWt of the sl'ft Section 26, Twp. 24 N. Range 12, West W .M.,
thenee along the existing road a distance of approximately tnree
miles in a northeasterly direction as provided under the provisions
of Chapter 187, Session Laws of 1937 and Chapter 181 Session Laws

of 1939, gnd that the sum of $3500.00 be set aside from tb.~ County
Road Fund for the purposes aforesaid.
