RESOLU'IIION NO / I 7
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners set aside by Resolution
passed by said Board, June 6th, 1938, setting aside the following
property for scenic and park purposes, to-wit:
Block 48 California Addition to PGrt Townsend and that portion
of Tax 1, Section 34, Twp. 31 N.H. lW., beginning at the Southeast
corner Block 48, Section 34, Twp. 31 N.R. 1 W. W.M., thence east
360 feet, thence north to meander line, thence west along meander line
to the intersection of the east line of Block 48, Califormia Addition
to Port Townsend, thence south along the east line of Block 48,
California Addition to the point of beginning, and
W}~REAS after studying the plans for development of such property
for park purposes, it is deemed necessary to decrease the amount of
said land so set aside,
BE IT TBEREF'ORE RESOLVED that the following land as so describeci:
Block 48 California Addition to Port Townsend and that portion of
Tax 1, Section 34, Twp. 31 N.R. 1 W., beginning at the Southeast corner
of ,Block 48, Section 34, Twp. 31 N.R. 1 W. W.M., thence east 110 feet,
thence north to meander line, thence west along meanderlin~ to the
intersection of the east line of Block 48, thence south along the east
line of Block 48, California Addition to the point of beginning,
supercede the land as set aside by prior Resolution and that such land
as described shall be dedicated to the public for park and recreational
uses.
