Dear Mr. Scalf,
I am writing to voice my objections to PLA's proposed build out to the remaining land surrounding the Marina
and hotel.
Specifically my objections are:
The proposed plan is way to dense. The original agreed on plan of 53 town houses and 5 single family
homes was strongly debated when it was agreed to and was what the current owners understood to be the final
disposition of the property around their homes and not the NEW plan now in front of your department.
Using a boundary line adjustment to avoid replating the property seems to me like a violation of the
code covering such matters.
The parking for the added homes and public facilities is inadequate. With the proposed expansion ofthe
marina it will be necessary to park behind the current Harbor Master restaurant and walk with out the aid of
sidewalks to the Marina. This clearly looks like a serious safety issue. The parking issue becomes especially
acute when the 120 weekend visitors to the Trend West facility decide to drive to the marina and look around.
In light of the above it seems to me that the best compromise would be to revert to the original plan, which was
what PLA, agreed to when they bought the property form Pope
