Subject: Port Ludlow Associates LLC: Notice of Public Hearing on Ludlow Bay Village
Dear Al and Michelle: I am writing to request that the County publish
notice of the public hearing on the applications of PLA relating to
Ludlow Bay Village. Given that Greg McCarry has announced his
departure from PLA effective January 20, it is important to PLA
that we maintain the schedule we discussed at our meeting in
November.
I am attaching a suggested notice. In the notice, I have made a few
assumptions:
1. The hearing can begin at 9:00 a.m., rather than at 1:00 p.m.
2. It is unnecessary to give notice of any hearing after January 17
until the end of the hearing on that day, since the hearing might be
complete on January 17, and if you give notice of a hearing on
January 18 then you will have to hold a hearing on that day, whether
it is needed or not.
3. The location of the theater is sufficiently described in the
notice and there is no street address.
4. The county intends to issue the staff report by January 7.
5. The county can fill in the date of the hearing notice.
6. Michelle is still the project planner.
