ORDINANCE NO. 3-73
AN ORDINANCE of Jefferson County, Washington, amending Ordinance No. C-382
adopted by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County Dec-
ember 1, 1958, entitled "An Ordinance of Jefferson County creating and
establishing a plan or system with respect to vacations and sick leave of
deputies and county employees employed on both a monthly and/or diem
or hourly basis" .
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY does
ordain as follows:
Section 1.
That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. C-382, en-
titled "An Ordinance of Jefferson County creating and establishing a plan or
system with respect to vacations and sick leave of deputies and county employees
employed on both a monthly and/or per diem or hourly basis" be, and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Retroactive and effective January 1, 1973, each regularly appointed deputy
and county employee on a monthly basis who has held such position or employment
within the county for a period of more than seven years continuously, shall here-
after be entitled to vacation of fifteen working days, for a period of more than
fifteen years continuously, shall hereafter be entitled to vacation of twenty work-
ing days, it being the intent and purpose of this ordinance to create an additional
five day vacation privilege to a seven and fifteen year continuous employment
period .

HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that on Tuesday, May 29, 1973, Hearing will be held
in the Commissioner's Room, of the Jefferson County Courthouse, for the pur-
pose of amending Ordinance No. C-382, adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners for Jefferson County December 1, 1958, entitled "An Ordinance
of Jefferson County creating and establishing a plan or system with respect to
vacations and sick leave of deputies and county employees employed on both
a monthly and/or diem or hourly basis". Anyone may appear and be heard at
that time with respect to the adoption or rejection of said proposed ordinance
being published by reference.
