Re: Discovery Bay Planned Rural Residential Development
Dear Stacie:
Enclosed please find the submittal documents for the Planned Rural Residential
Development and the Long Plat Subdivision for the Discovery Bay project along with
a check for $14,560.00 as requested for processing of the applications.
The body of work you are about to undertake is the product of considerable effort
by a team of very professional and for the most part local consultants. Since our
pre-application conference we were thrown numerous curves which required
additional evaluation prior to proceeding and in some instances caused us to
consider alternative development programs. One can only hope that your efforts
will follow a more direct path. We, as a team, are confident that if this project is
successful as envisioned, it will have not only saved a very valuable public
recreational amenity, but will have created a unique rural residential community;
one that will be a benefit to the entire Jefferson County community.
