Randy White will be submitting our application for construction approval for the streets and infrastructure for the
Discovery Bay PRRD residential project today. I acknowledge that we still do not have preliminary approval and
that potentially some modifications may precipitate as result of the forthcoming public forum and decision by the
Hearing Commissioner. Obviously, the burden from such an event is ours but we have decided to gamble a bit in
order to expedite the construction permit process and begin work.
However, we are also confident that the project will move forward as planned and if it is possible, we would like to
clear and grade the initial roads, stabilize the exposed surfaces this fall which would then permit installation of
utilities over the winter. This is ideal since the areas being impacted are on the upslope of the property and
relatively dry. The economics of our project are also on a similar timeline and it is paramount that we make an
advance so that the ultimate success of THE RESERVE at Discovery Bay and the golf course is guaranteed.
