Now, the court case...hum? I would expect David Alvarez to comment on this issue as part of his legal review of the proposed development agreement amendment. We will address it in our staff report. I would expect the BOCC to ask about it as well. And it will be part of the public comments submitted. I would be curious to know your thoughts on how the county can entertain this given the pending suit filed by PLA? It must be abundently clear that they are taking this approach since they have a very low chance of overturning Galt's decision. The RCW requires an initial hearing on their suit within 31 to 55 days of filing and a hearing within 60 days. They filed in Dec and we haven't even had the initial hearing yet and in fact don't even have a date set. This means that if they really wanted this could have been to trial and a decison rendered by now, so their claims of time saving are, shall we say, without merit. And hello Barbara and welcome aboard! I look forward to meeting. Did AI tell you how deep the swamp is at Port Ludlow' and the cast of characters, including me, that crawl out of it?:-) Regards, Lewis LOG !J.EM # .i. r- -v f Page 0._ 7/712006
