If I read and interpret the reports in the press correctly, the PLA has submitted an amendment to the original permit that would in some way allow the construction ofthe Trend West time share buildings. I think that I am correct in stating that this construction was deemed a commercial project by a revue board. Am I correct in assuming that an amendment is not the same as a "re-zoning" request? If so, why should an amendment be allowed when a "re-zone" procedure is the correct method that would allow a commercial project? If for some reason, you are not the person responsible for reviewing this project, would you please forward my request to the proper person.
