Hi Barbara, and thanks all for keeping me in the loop. As a thought, if there is not a specific time if the regs for
comment, I'd suggest 30 days to allow sufficient time for all to review. If there is a range of time, I'd suggest
allowing as much time for comment as possible prior to the hearing. While PLAfTrendwest are anxious to move
forward, the public should be allowed a realistic time for review and comment. Also, they have backed away from
the suit they initiated against the county which if they had pursued in accordance with the RCW would have been
to trial and a decision rendered in late April or May. They are trying to game the system, which I understand, but
the county also needs to protect the interests of the public.
