What was sent from Elizabeth Van Zonneveld of Port Ludlow Village Council was very flawed and did not represent the majority of the Council. All that was to be sent was "At the last General Meeting of the Council, held July 6, 2006, the Council voted to communicate formally to you that we question the use of a contractual document such as the Development Agreement as a means to change zoning designations." 7/21/2006 G (r:r:~ rrc.:M (J_ir .... 37 ,,(.. e e Page 2 of3 This PL VC Board did not chopped or approved the letter that y~u sent. Using a statement that says "refused to adopt CC&R's that were similar...." has to be misleading as I'm now told that their CC&Rs are more stringent than ours! Is that true? If so, why tell the county that we don't like their CC&Rs? The PLVC Board did not say "Allowing this means ofre-zoning may have serious property value implications not only in Port Ludlow under this Development Agreement but county-wide as well." Is this really true or your opinion? It's not my opinion. Lastly, where did the closing sentence come from? "carefully consider our concern in this matter. We believe that the Commission should consider that this decision might have great impact..." I think a second letter should be sent to the same addees and that this first misleading letter be cancelled and pulled from the official correspondence files. Then I suggest you add what the PLVC did approve,i.e., "At the last General Meeting of the Council, held July 6, 2006, the Council voted to communicate formally to you that we question the use of a contractual document such as the Development Agreement as a means to change zoning designations."
