Gentlemen,
We vigorously oppose the Port Ludlow Associates plan to sell the "log dump" area of Ludlow Bay to
TrendWest for development as a time-share facility.
TrendWest currently operates a time share facility in Jefferson County at Discovery Bay. . . that
facility is underutilized and in need of maintenance. Another facility is not needed. Further, the
addition of time-share is outside the scope of the Port Ludlow Resort Master Plan. Although PLA
previously attempted to circumvent the plan by reinventing the concept of time-share and
identifying the facility use as "multi-family", it does not change the impact on our community.
High density, temporary resident, non-owner usage of the planned facility does not fit with the
owner-occupied residential (resort) community that we currently enjoy.
This attempt to change the environment of Port Ludlow should not be approved!
