Dear Pat,
I am writing this letter to express my support for the proposed Trendwest Project in Port
Ludlow. I am a resident of the Olympic Terrace village in Port Ludlow. My wife, daughter
and I have been in our current home for approximately 2 1Z2 years. We have been impressed
with the quality of our home as well as with the amenities of the total Port Ludlow
development. We have had excellent dealings with Port Ludlow Associates (PLA) and have
found PLA to be fair and reasonable.
Although some percentage of the owners in Port Ludlow seem to be dissatisfied with almost
everything, I believe these individuals do not represent the vast majority of Port Ludlow
residents. It is unfortunate that a relatively few disgruntled individuals seem to have
had a large impact on what happens in Port Ludlow.
The quality and beauty of the Port Ludlow resort speaks for itself. PLA has created a
resort community, which I believe is without equal in Washington.
I trust that PLA will continue to make decisions that will improve the quality of life in
this community. It is in the interests of both PLA and the residents to improve the
overall quality of the resort community.
I believe the Trendwest project will provide many positive benefits to both Port Ludlow

As a former school administrator in Kitsap County, I know that school districts have had
to increasingly rely on levies to fund basic educational services. Projects such as
Trnedwest will provide much needed tax revenues to support a variety of governmental
functions.
I urge you to approve the PLA proposal to amend the existing Port Ludlow Development
Agreement and allow the Trendwest project to proceed. Thank you for your attention to this
request.
Sincerely,
Charles R. Main
