RE: Hearing on Sept. 22
Barbara,
No changes here. It is our understanding that the hearing examiner will hear both the
amendment and the shoreline permit at the September 22, 2006. After the hearing examiner
reviews what comes before him in the September 22, 2006 hearing, he will decide if he has
enough information to decide both cases. Again, it is our understanding that he will
review both.
Thanks,

Subject: Hearing on Sept. 22
Dear Barbara:
What gives? Why are we suddenly hearing from Rick Rozzell, and not from your office, that
the hearing before the Hearing Examiner on 9/22 will just address the Shoreline Permit?
Rick announced that at the SBCA meeting. When I had a subsequent meeting on the Resort
with Diana Smeland and Randy Verrue, they knew nothing about the hearing subject matter
changing. The message we received was that the Hearing before the BoCC would address PLA's
request to amend the Development Agreement.
That being the case, please urge everyone involved to have that date set by 9/15 so that
the October Voice can tell a very confused community when the hearing will be.
Many thanks.
Barbara Wagner-Jauregg
P.S. Is this change because of something that Les Power / Rick Rozzell have done or
threatened to do???? Tom Stone was visibly shook up this morning to have that tossed at
him from the audience.
