Amendment No.1 to Port Ludlow Development Agreement
Dear Mr. Casseaux,
1 was advised by PLA last evening that PLA and Trendwest had requested and the county
has agreed to continue the hearing on the captioned scheduled for tomorrow. 1 have a
heavy travel schedule and had specifically arranged my affairs to be available this month
both to prepare for and to participate in tomorrow's hearing.
Unfortunately as I look at my October and November schedule, which is rather full based
on pushing travel forward from September, 1 have limited availability. In October and
November the dates 1 am in town are October 9,10,11,12,13,16 and 17 and November
6,7,8,9,10,20,21,27,28,29 and 30. 1 will be out of town on business or out ofthe country
the remainder of October and November.
It is important to me to participate in this hearing. You have read in the material from
PLA about this being a "dispute" involving three property owners. While 1 don't believe
this is an accurate characterization, I am one of the three individuals to whom they refer.
I was one of the appellants of the original applications and also named by PLA in their
suit against Jefferson County on this same issue. Since the proposed amendment is
PLA's alternative to proceeding with their suit and since PLA is the party that requested
the continuance, 1 respectfully request that the hearing date be set at a time I am in town
and able to attend
