However, it is obvious that the preparation or status of the applicant controls whether a specific date scheduied before the hearing examiner will control. Why is this courtesy not accorded to the pubiic, particularly those that have commented? I am left with the strong impression that I am viewed as a nuisance and PLA the white knight bringing economic development to the County. What happened to the importance of property rights, a matter recognized under the GMA at RCW 36.70A.020(6)? I don't ask for preference but parity would be helpful. It is not County policy to schedule hearings based upon the availability of each citizen Hearing scheduling is primarily based upon the schedule of the HE and the County and, of course, the applicant - that is challenge enough.
