Testimony Before Hearing Examiner in Regard to the TrendWest Proposal by
Thomas E. McCay
My name is Tom McCay. I reside at 40 Mariner Place Port Ludlow,WA
I am in favor of the construction of the TrendWest project on the "log dump"
site for a variety of economic reasons expressed by other speakers.
The point that I would like to make is this: When Port Ludlow was
designated as a Master Planned Resort it was during the period when the
community was referred to as a "Destination Resort". This description may
or not be applicable now. It is my opinion that the location of a WorldMark
Timeshare would enhance the description of "destination resort" and fortify
the community against charges to the contrary in future years.
