* Award 20 companies in 12 states more than $2.8 billion to boost battery manufacturing;
* Enroll more than 14.8 million households in the Affordable Connectivity Program to expand affordable, high-speed internet; and

Lowering Costs for Working Families: Health Care, Economic Opportunity, Housing
<https://mcusercontent.com/f620288bb41dd81f9c715ef4d/images/41eb089f-6a13-dd7d-f878-f7f4fa6f86c1.png>
When President Biden and Vice President Harris took office in January 2021, they inherited multiple historic crises and a narrow margin in Congress.
Despite these challenges, the President and Vice President got Americans back to work, laid the foundation for bringing back manufacturing to the U.S., and built the most significant
legislative record since President Lyndon B. Johnson.
This year, Democrats across the country ran on the Biden-Harris agenda -- and won. As a result, President Biden had the best first midterm elections outcome of any Democratic president
in 60 years.
* He’s the first President since President Franklin D. Roosevelt to not lose a single incumbent Senator in a midterm.
* Democrats gained Governors’ mansions, flipped state legislatures, won key Secretary of State races, and minimized losses in the House of Representatives.
President Biden promised to rebuild the backbone of the country, the middle class. And he’s delivering.
* He has delivered unprecedented job creation for this point in a presidency, with 10.5 million new jobs
* The economy is growing.
* Real wages are up.
* Inflation is moderating and gas prices are lower than a year ago.
What’s more, the Biden-Harris economic plan is working:
* The President is leading a manufacturing boom, repairing our roads and bridges (Bipartisan Infrastructure Law), rebuilding supply chains (CHIPs & Science Act), and manufacturing clean
energy technology here at home (Inflation Reduction Act)
* He’s giving families breathing room -- empowering Medicare to negotiate lower drug costs, capping insulin prices for seniors at $35 per month, and lowering health care premiums (Inflation
Reduction Act).
* He’s providing student debt relief for working families as they return to repayment from the pandemic.
* And, he’s rewarding work, not wealth – making the super-wealthy and corporations pay their fair share, while no one making under $400,000 per year pays a penny more in taxes (Inflation
Reduction Act).

On November 30th and December 1st, 2022, President Biden hosted the 2022 White Tribal Nations Summit. Tribal leaders from over 300 Tribal Nations gathered in Washington at the Department
of the Interior for the first in-person Summit of this Administration. The President and members of the Cabinet announced a number of new actions that will build on the progress that
has already been made, create new opportunities for Tribal consultation and input, and produce lasting changes that will impact Tribal communities for generations to come.
Since taking office, President Biden has prioritized relationships with Tribal Nations that are built on respect for Tribal sovereignty and self-governance, honoring federal trust and
treaty responsibilities, protecting Tribal homelands, and conducting regular, meaningful, and robust consultation. The President has also advanced an economic agenda that includes historic
levels of funding specifically for Tribal communities and Native people, including $32 billion in the American Rescue Plan (ARP), $13 billion in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL),
and $700 million in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). Please read the 2022 Tribal Nations Summit Report (linked below) for more details.
