WSAC has been conducting an election for a new county representative on the Board of Natural Resources according to the requirements in RCW 43.30.205. The election ballots were due last night at 5:00 PM from all counties eligible to vote in this process. I am pleased to announce that the voter turnout for this election was 100%, and the results are attached for your review and information. Please join me in congratulating Skagit County Commissioner Lisa Janicki as the new county representative on the Board of Natural Resources (BNR). Commissioner Janicki will serve a 4-year term beginning January 1, 2023. Please also join me in thanking our other excellent candidates for their willingness to step up and represent WSAC members in this role. We are fortunate to have active and dedicated members willing to sacrifice and commit themselves to the service of others. I also want to thank again our outgoing BNR Representative, Clallam County Commissioner Bill Peach. All ballots are available for inspection.
