January 16th 10am - 1pm At the Salmon Center Come help us restore salmon habitat on the Union River Estuary this MLK Day! Volunteers will be planting native shrubs, mulching, and performing trail maintenance. Please dress according to the weather: warm clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, rain gear, gloves, boots, and a water bottle are highly recommended! If you have a mallet, please bring that as well. A portion of your class registration goes towards supporting HCSEG’s environmental efforts. Classes are at the Salmon Center classroom and led by the incredible Michelle Pugh from Joonbug Yoga. See below for session details and signups - you can save by signing up for both sessions instead of each one individually! Kids over 12 welcome! Please note refunds are not available unless the class is cancelled. Session 1 / $20 January 18th Wednesday 6-7:30 pm The Salmon Center Classroom: 600 NE Roessel RD. / Belfair WA 98528 Start the new year with a beginning level yoga practice that focuses on clearing stagnant energy and setting healthy intentions for the new year. Class ends with guided Yoga Nidra meditation and cozy herbal teas made by Michelle Pugh that aid the body in detoxification and balancing inside and out will be provided! Get ready for the new year with gentle movement, creative exercises and journaling practices that encourage recycling unused energy in body, home and community. Get ready to cleanse and renew! Please bring items to donate to those in need (i.e. gently used or new winter clothing and blankets). Journals and art supplies will be available to use during class. Herbal teas and elderberry syrup samples made by Michelle Pugh will be provided throughout class for overall well-being!
