Sign up by January 26th, 2023 to advocate for Washington's parks, habitat, conservation and outdoor recreation! Never met with a legislator before? Don't worry, we will make sure you have everything you need! The event will include: * Training on how to talk with legislators * Talking points and lots of information * Meetings with elected officials * Briefings from legislators on budget committees This year is an exciting time for our outdoors! We have seen a rise in demand in outdoor recreation and the work needed to address the impacts of that demand in habitat restoration and conservation. We believe that it is more important than ever to urge the legislature fund the WWRP fully this biennium. This event will be followed by an in person reception in Olympia on February 2nd, 2023 at the Governor's Mansion (limited capacity due to COVID restrictions, so register today!). Both Governor Inslee and Comissioner Hillary Franz will be speaking at the reception. The deadline to register for either event is January 26th!
